Morning all. As the clocks go forward and the sun (tries to) make an appearance, we look forward to the cricket season getting under way in a few short weeks. And the first step is to get the club house and ground cricket ready.
Saturday 13th April is the Club Force Day at PGCC. Phil Avery will be at the club from 9.00a.m. with a list of tasks to complete our pre-season preparations.
This includes jobs such as putting the covers on the frames, checking the scoreboard, touching up the paintwork on the sightscreens and pavilion, sorting out changing rooms, strimming etc. amongst many other things.
This is the perfect example of the saying, 'many hands make light work' and so the Committee will be grateful to all who are able to come along to lend a hand preparing our Club for the forthcoming season. This includes all members alike - adult players, parents, juniors and life members. Every contribution counts and is appreciated.
Please bring along any items that you think useful, such as brushes, cutter/strimmer, loppers, ordinary strimmer etc.
See you on Saturday 13th April at PGCC #upthegreen
